About Me
Katherine A. Starks opened the law office of Katherine A. Starks Attorney, LLC in 2017. She concentrates her practice in dealing with real property matters with an emphasis in issues arising from tax sales in Indiana. She also assists clients with wills, estate administration, and business formation issues. Prior to striking out on her own, she was employed as an attorney with the Law Office of William R Richards PC for 14 years. Her practice takes her across the state of Indiana.
Katherine received her Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University where she majored in Criminal Justice. After graduation she became a probation officer in McLean County, Illinois and later in Marion County, Indiana. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.
Katherine is an Adjunct Instructor in the ABA Approved Paralegal Studies Program at Indiana University School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI; Department of Political Science. She teaches Property Law and Business Associations to aspiring paralegals and attorneys.
